I was excited to write a post earlier this morning. Unfortunately, my mood was ruined when I tried to type in my HP mini note keyboard and numbers were showing instead of letters.
I can’t type properly because I need to hold down the FN Key first! I do not have to guess why the FN key got stuck, little Chesca is for sure the culprit on this.
No one is touching my HP mini note except her. I remember one time, she poured her milk in my keyboard. When I picked my laptop up, the milk is pouring from the keypads just like waterfalls! Oh, if only a 3-year-old little girl would know what grounded means, I could have told her not to go out from her crib for a month!
Anyways, back to my FN key, I was hopelessly guessing the magic keys to remove the FN key in vain. I also tried to search in the internet and landed from few technical forums and web pages about hp mini notes.
It was a good thing, on my last drop of patience before I could scold little Chesca BIG Time, I found this nice forum where in a member have the same dilemma as mine.
Someone responded to her inquiry, a tech guy from HP, he was able to provide the magic key function, which is holding down the FN key and pressing the NUM LK keys.
It was amazing! My keyboard is back to its alphabetic function! And Little Chesca was saved from strangulation. hahaha
Oh, if you will ask me what I should post before this whole thing happened, sorry, I forgot what to post after going through the stress from my FN function key. Probably later this evening, if a shinning light from somewhere would freshen my memory.
